The Hollywood Reporter is looking for a Sales Coordinator to provide administrative support to the sales department. The position will support three Sales Executives, including the VP, Entertainment. This is a great opportunity for candidates interested in pursuing a career in Advertising Sales and learning both the publishing and digital categories from the ground up. This position will be responsible for entering orders into Salesforce, working with Production, composing correspondence, maintaining schedules, client contacts and communicating project deadlines and status throughout the sales team. Additional duties include but are not limited to, setting up meetings, conference calls, and answering calls for various sales representatives. The position will also create media kits, coordinate special projects and compile research for the sales staff and other team members. 

Ideal candidate will be passionate about The Hollywood Reporter and have an interest in Sales, Entertainment, or Publishing. Similarly, they will need to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment while juggling multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Qualifications / Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 year experience in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in MS Office specifically in Excel and Word
Proficient with Salesforce 
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to communicate with internal and external clients
Working knowledge of social networking and media websites
Ability to work with strict deadlines
Strong organizational skills and great follow up
Expert multi-tasker
A team player with a can do positive attitude
Resourceful and proactive with exceptional customer services skills 

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous advertising tracking and marketing skills
Experience performing internet research
A strong passion and understanding of pop culture, film, television and media
