Human Resources/Cultural Development Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Human Resources

  • Process new employee paperwork and create/update employee files and ensure compliance 
  • Process departmental invoicing and rush payments
  • Manage temporary recruitment process
  • Provide support of recruitment efforts including the vetting of resumes, reference checks and new employee paperwork
  • Manage onboarding and off boarding process
  • Assist with coordination of annual performance review process
  • Maintain departmental org charts on a monthly basis
  • Audit NetTime vacation and personal day accruals. Run quarterly reports correct.
  • Run reports as needed such as employee demographics, salary history, etc.
  • Assist with HR projects such as annual open enrollment, research and gathering of information for confidential legal matters, etc.
  • Stay up to date on HR procedures/laws and policies

 

Cultural Development

  • Coordinate bi-monthly culture advisory meetings, provide summary/recap, assign and follow-up on duties
  • Research and suggest fun and engaging culture boosting initiatives
  • Plan employee parties, events and team building initiatives. 
  • Serve as administrator for employee Facebook page
  • Coordinate  employee birthday/anniversary notifications
  • Create and distribute monthly newsletter

 

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1 year HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner
  • Must be flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within company as a whole.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines with accuracy;
  • Detail-oriented and proactive;
  • Must have positive, energetic and creative personality
